Admicom has been developing software for construction companies for forty years. The software house focuses on various sectors and with Vakware now also has comprehensive ERP software specifically for the infrastructure sector. In recent years it has invested a lot of energy in seamless integrations with other specialized software for the GWW sector. Think of Civiel from Bakker&Spees and Cleverdesk. This makes Vakware the center of all-in-one software for GWW companies.
"Admicom has been serving customers in the infrastructure sector for years - the 'oldest' infrastructure customer has been relying on Vakware for more than 25 years - but two years ago Admicom set up a working group to make the software even better suited to this sector," begins Bram Theunisse of Admicom Systems. "We chose to integrate well with Civiel Software from Bakker&Spees, one of the most widely used systems in the field of specifications and calculations. Recently we also started a cooperation with Cleverdesk, especially for companies that need extensive software support of their equipment services this is very interesting."

The integrations with Bakker&Spees and Cleverdesk make Vakware, Admicom's software package, the all-in-one solution for the GWW. "Customers don't have to worry about these links. It works as one integrated whole." This was well thought out in advance by the three parties together with the first customers. Vakware is available in three different packages, depending on company size and automation needs. "Because field service automation is at least as important as the back office, a Full Suite User (office) license always includes five Mobile Users," Theunisse points out.
Some two thousand companies rely on Admicom's software every day. "We notice that many companies in the GWW sector are looking for a new way to automate. Consequently, we have identified the infrastructure sector as a specific target group within construction, for which special software components have been developed. In addition, a business unit has been established with support staff, advisors and consultants who know everything about the GWW sector. We focus our software primarily on small and medium-sized companies with 5 to 150 employees. They are usually not waiting for complicated software packages, but they do want and need to be able to arrange everything down to the last detail. With Vakware and our partners, we relieve them of this burden."

According to Theunisse, the strength of Admicom, besides its user-friendliness, lies in the fact that the software is comprehensive. "Comprehensive in the sense of software components for relationship management and CRM, calculation, project administration, financial administration, material management, resource planning and so much more. We also access Vakware via apps on the projects. That is, in addition to the back office application that spans the entire breadth of the organization, we can also fully automate the 'field service' according to the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) principle. In other words, the app is installed on your own devices. This saves companies making the switch an investment in new hardware. Working with Admicom's app reduces the number of FTEs needed in the office to get a good picture of the state of affairs outside on the various projects. Registration takes place during the work on the project itself, directly at the source. As a result, you always have the current and correct state of affairs at the office."
Working with Admicom's app ensures that you need fewer and fewer FTEs in the office to get a good picture of the state of affairs outside on the various projects.
According to Theunisse, the software is only one aspect; the service behind it is at least as important. "It is of course important that companies use our software as efficiently as possible and, above all, that Vakware is carried throughout the organization. We therefore attach great value to close contact with our customers. For example, we always advise adding an entry-level package to get companies up and running quickly," says Theunisse.
His colleague Jara van Helvoort adds: "We help with setting up Vakware, such as entering or importing relationships, items and equipment, as well as setting up templates for quotations and invoices, for example. And we train employees, supported of course with helpful manuals and instructional videos."
Since Corona, working from home is the new norm for many companies. "Still, it's handy that through Vakware you have visibility of the full status of your projects no matter where you are," Theunisse emphasizes. "And if a customer has a question, they only need to remember one phone number. That service is perceived very positively by our customers. For years we have had a permanent core of support staff, advisors and consultants who therefore know our customers through and through." Roland Koerhuis, board member at Klink-Nijland GWW in Raalte, can confirm this like no other, saying, "We have been working with Vakware for almost fifteen years. We see the program as a tool that does what it needs to do. For what we use Vakware for, it is extremely user-friendly. If we have questions, we always get a quick answer or someone from Admicom looks with us."
