They are a telling example for the crane industry. With an extensive experience in new and second-hand cranes, Stefca Kraanservice NV has built up a good understanding of the qualities of the various brands of construction cranes on the European market. In order to serve the customer base even better, Stefca has recently also included the range of Italian Cattaneo in its range. An interview with Frans Aertsen, founder of Stefca Kraanservice NV.
Stefca Kraanservice has decades of experience in construction and tower cranes and is widely known for the quality, service and after-sales offered to its customers. The company is a specialist in rental, sales (new Cattaneo cranes and second-hand Potain, Vicario and Arcomet cranes) and maintenance of tower cranes and quick-assembly cranes. "We attach great importance to fast service and good contacts in order to build a relationship of trust with our customers," says Aertsen. "Thanks to a team of driven and well-trained employees, we can offer a leading service in the field of maintenance and repairs, the assembly and disassembly of construction cranes and the safe transport of those cranes."
Stefca Kraanservice expands offering with Cattaneo cranes.
Luigi Cattaneo SpA was founded in Magnago (Milano) in 1954. From its inception, the company specialized in the design and manufacture of construction cranes. The company is still managed by the Cattaneo family. "The company has become a speaking example for the crane industry, thanks to the constant search for new advanced technical solutions and possibilities, fully tailored to the users' needs," explains Frans Aertssen of Stefca. "Cattaneo construction cranes are exported all over Europe and the rest of the world, and we can safely say that they are among the top tower cranes for the construction industry. We supply ten different models, including two models on axles. These models can be constructed as a trailer or semi-trailers and pulled for transport up to 80 km/h. For the construction of the "towed" cranes, crane manufacturer Cattaneo cooperates with the Italian trailer manufacturer De Angelis. Once again a guarantee of quality and conformity with European legislation," Aertsen believes.
Aertsen concluded, "We want to be able to offer our customers even more customized construction cranes. With the additional models from the Cattaneo range, we offer an interesting and qualitative alternative to our already existing offer. In terms of performance, the Cattaneo models range from a 22-meter boom to 41 meters and lifting capacities from 1,800 kg to 4 tons. All models are equipped with frequency control, so there are no problems with connection to the power grid. In addition, all cranes are equipped with radio control from Hetronic (E.T.A.systems)." Because Stefca Kraanservice sells new radio controls of the Hetronic brand and is a repair service of radio controls such as Hetronic, Autec, HBC, Gross Funk and Ravioli, the company is fully familiar with this technology.
