Griekspoor moves into new office building

The new office building has two floors and was realized within four months by De Groot Vroomshoop. The interior was provided by Master Totaalinrichting. In creating the various office and meeting rooms, extensive use was made of sound-absorbing glass in the walls and doors. In addition, the new addition was built sustainably and circularly.

Sustainable and circular

Gerrit Fokke - Project Manager at De Groot Vroomshoop: "Not only is the new building sustainably and circularly built, a large part of it consists of wood. Wood has the lowest CO2 footprint of all traditional building materials. The building can be moved in the future and dismantled and reused at the end of its useful life. The use of wood on the exterior also ensures that the building fits well into its surroundings."

Growth

Frank Griekspoor is very pleased with the new step his company is taking in this way, "In recent years we have grown considerably as a civil engineering company. This requires not only adjustments in terms of organization and operations, but also more office space. We started looking for a quick and easy way to build as the need for more office space increased. De Groot Vroomshoop's circular method and type of construction really appealed to us. We are also actively aware of the impact of our activities on people, the environment and society.

We left the interior design to Master Total Furnishing. A local organization, strong in realizing projects from A to Z. Handsome how they translated our work into the interior design."
