Circular (re)building: from stuffy complex to hip office

Circular (re)building: from dusty complex to hip office

On Thursday, Feb. 4, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., the various parties involved will provide insight into the realization of this circular project and what opportunities and challenges are involved during a round-the-table discussion.

Engineering firm BOOT purchased an existing complex some time ago with the goal of turning it into a beautiful office building. To achieve this, BOOT is currently renovating its office building with circular materials. A process in which those involved deviate from the familiar path and look ahead to how we can deal with materials in a different, sustainable way. A challenging process, because how do you ensure that all the circular puzzle pieces fall into place?

Erick Wuestman (Expert Circular Economy, KplusV) will discuss this with stakeholders:

  • Kees Boot - BOOT, client of the project;
  • Susanne Bakkenist - Studio Spacemonkey, interior designer;
  • Arend van de Beek - Lagemaat, circular demolisher;
  • Simon Wijnsma - Davelaar, contractor
  • Peter Kreukniet - Insert Foundation, circular program manager.

The key question during this webinar is: how do the parties involved work together to achieve a successful circular project and what opportunities and challenges do they encounter? In what ways does this process differ from a traditional, linear process? During this free webinar they will take you through this circular journey and give tips and tops for such a project. Will you be there? Then sign up quickly. Welcome! A few days before the start you will receive a link to follow the webinar.

This webinar is an initiative of the Insert Foundation and BOOT.
