InfraTech 2021 Goes Hybrid

The upcoming edition, January 12 - 15, 2021, InfraTech is introducing an advanced online networking platform in addition to the physical exhibition floor. The InfraTech Network Platform offers the possibility of matchmaking, making appointments and participating in the digital knowledge program. 

During InfraTech, the chain comes together to make connections, strengthen collaborations, share knowledge and inspire each other. The pillars of meeting, knowledge transfer and innovation are central. Also this edition, important meetings in the sector will be facilitated in a responsible way. Both physically, where sufficient space will be offered at a safe and appropriate distance to network, and digitally on the new (online) InfraTech Network Platform.

Matchmaking & digital knowledge program

The online InfraTech Networking Platform has been open since December. Until the end of January 2021, infra professionals, interested parties and the visitors and exhibitors of InfraTech 2021 Hybrid will have the opportunity to meet each other based on their business interests and gain valuable
connections to make.  

On the Network Platform, exhibitors have their own environment in which they can share knowledge about their products and innovations, among other things. The various knowledge sessions in cooperation with partners can be followed online via the new InfraTech Network Platform. Exhibitors can also stream live knowledge sessions or host a virtual roundtable discussion. For example, a webinar can be organized through a live stream.

Connecting the market still top of mind

Annemieke den Otter, Exhibition Manager InfraTech: "The theme Move Forward is more relevant than ever. We want to face challenges and seize opportunities in this rapidly changing physical and digital world. Corona has only accelerated this even more. That is why we choose to offer the market a platform precisely in these times where they can come together, share knowledge and innovations and of course exchange experiences in these strange times."

Safety always comes first

The safety of our exhibitors, visitors and partners is always our priority. Den Otter: "We can welcome our exhibitors and visitors in a safe and hospitable way. With the new layout of the exhibition floor and studios, we have more space and strictly comply with hygiene measures and the 1.5-meter distance rule. We do this, among other things, by deploying hospitable corona enforcers on the exhibition floor." There will also be constant monitoring of how many people are on the exhibition floor in order to meet the set regulations. We do continue to strive for a representative representation of all sectors within the infra industry. We realize that if the current measures are still in force in January, there are also target groups that are not allowed by their employer to pay a physical visit. We will encourage these target groups to use the online InfraTech Network Platform.

The theme of InfraTech 2021 Hybrid is Move Forward. To be able to make the next step within the infrastructure sector, adaptive capacity is required of organizations to be able to work together on the transitions. Not only now during the corona crisis, but also with other challenges for example in the field of scarcity, sustainability, the energy transition and digitalization. The world is developing rapidly and we want to take on challenges and seize opportunities in this rapidly changing physical and digital world. We want to move forward together, make our mark on the future and take the lead in creating the world of tomorrow. It is time to Move Forward!
