Following the press conference on Tuesday, Nov. 3, in which the government declared a temporary tightening of the partial lockdown, we are receiving questions about what this means for Infra Relatiedagen on Feb. 2, 3 and 4, 2021. We are hereby pleased to address the most frequently asked questions!
All public access sites and so-called flow-through sites are closed during this period. We fall under flow-through venues. As a result, until the press conference on Nov. 3, it was still allowed for fairs to continue. This will no longer be possible from Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 10 p.m. until Wednesday, Nov. 18. The additional measures also mean that we will temporarily close our own locations in Gorinchem and Hardenberg to the public in accordance with the measures. In the previous period, we had already acted proactively by moving all our trade fairs in 2020 to a later date.

Yes. According to government messaging, as of Nov. 19 we are going back to the partial lockdown of Oct. 14. Those measures show that events are not allowed to go on, but the government is right to make a distinction in that for fairs. That means that fairs will be allowed to resume as of Thursday, Nov. 19. The government makes this distinction for trade shows because they see trade shows as economic initiatives for the benefit of economic recovery.
At the moment, we are confident that we will be able to start the exhibition season in 2021, which includes Infra Relatiedagen. Of course, we are closely following the developments of the corona virus. The health of everyone involved has our highest priority. We only allow a fair to go ahead if we feel it is responsible. In addition, every fair is reviewed by the safety region. For the most current information, please refer to https://www.infrarelatiedagen.nl/
The safety of our exhibitors and visitors is our top priority. Our health and safety protocols at Evenementenhal Gorinchem were recently successfully audited by SGS, the world leader in inspection, monitoring, analysis and certification. Their positive audit confirms that we provide a safe place to meet and do business. These same protocols are also deployed for the Hardenberg branch, which hosts Infra Relatiedagen.
Yes. In September we were allowed to organize our first trade fair again, namely the purchasing fair Trendz. In September we also facilitated the Drankenbeurz in Gorinchem.

Positives. Exhibitors were very pleased with the increased quality of visitors. As you might imagine, there were no so-called day visitors on the show floor. Visitors who were there came to the fair very purposefully. As a result, exhibitors did good business. About the safety of the fair, both exhibitors and visitors unanimously agreed: more than safe. Curious about all the reactions? Take a look at our special video with comments during this trade show about safety and the importance of letting the show go on.
Since the corona outbreak, we have worked every day to establish every conceivable protocol to restart fairs in a safe and responsible manner. These protocols and their implementation have been evaluated as very positive by the local authorities. We are confident that we can run fairs responsibly. At our website are the exact measures we will take for Infra Relatiedagen.
