Komatsu listened to its customers and delivers a machine with exceptional comfort, even more safety features, intuitive ergonomic operation, improved performance, optimal maneuverability and simplified maintenance. With this, the PW98MR-11 has the most complete standard equipment on the European market. Moreover, this excavator complies with the European Stage V emission standards without SCR exhaust gas treatment system, which means no AdBlue® is required.

Versatility and efficiency

The proportional joystick ensures precise control of the various attachments with extra high-flow hydraulics as standard. The optional Komatsu attachment control allows to operate many types of attachments which makes the machine extremely flexible.

The operator controls the entire machine from his fingertips. Travel direction, undercarriage equipment and manual/automatic axle lock can be controlled by buttons on the joysticks or on the dashboard. Switching between boom or parallel blade operation is done without releasing the right joystick.

Despite its compact size, the PW98MR-11 offers unique lifting power. The combination of strength, compact size and full control make the PW98MR-11 the ideal choice for working in narrow streets, road works or sewage works. The swinging boom allows working parallel to buildings or fences, while the reinforced double lift cylinder allows loading trucks in complete safety. When working on uneven or slippery ground, the standard limited slip differential on both axles ensures optimum traction and stability.

Thanks to its EU Stage V engine, PW98MR-11 meets the increasingly stringent environmental requirements in urban areas, making it a profitable investment for the future.

The latest KOMTRAX telematics, integrated into the SmartFleet platform at BIA, allows the machines to be continuously monitored in terms of localization, usage data and technical parameters with the aim of further optimizing return-on-investment. A choice of one of the service packages guarantees worry-free sustainable use and maximum uptime.
