Power food for the hardworking man

Power food for the hardworking man

Hearty, healthy and flavorful meals on location

A hard worker deserves a good meal. Where heavy physical work is done, we provide the building blocks for the inner man. So says Rick Lauffer, so much more than just owner of Sjeff. With his hospitality, enthusiasm and incessant thinking, he is going to make the difference in on-site catering.

Sjeff is going to provide all of construction and working Holland with power food. "We are so much more than a caterer, Sjeff is above all flexible. So our team works for all those hard workers day and night, during the week, on weekends and also during outdoor work sites. Because hardworking people need to be able to eat a nutritious and tasty meal on time. Even when breakfast shifts on to the afternoon or lunch shifts on to the night, Sjeff shifts in with no problem."

'Keetering' on location

With the mobile kitchen unit, Sjeff Keetering can be subtly integrated on any construction site or project. Not only time- and cost-saving but also a guarantee of freshly prepared meals. "Moreover, it allows us to anticipate demand and scale up where needed, regardless of quantity or time of day. Where they work, we sjeff," Rick says. "I often partner with a local business owner to be able to serve the client at all times." Thanks to 26 years of hospitality experience, Rick has built a huge network from which he is now reaping the benefits. "Together with the team, we sjeff every challenge to perfection."

Nutritious, delicious and healthy!

Morality on a grand scale

Sjeff carefully chooses the ingredients and preparation methods for his power food so that each employee not only eats delicious but also fresh, healthy and nutritious. And depending on the demand, that translates into an archetypal Dutch stew or a trendy fusion meal. "This is how we contribute to keeping morale high, no matter how big the project. The difference between exceptional and ordinary is just that little bit extra," according to Rick. "Like when you spontaneously hand out a cooling ice cream on a hot day. When we drive up and you hear the call, 'Hey Sjeffie, what have you got for us now?' then you know: we're doing it right. And we are 'one of the guys'."

Passion

In addition to that tremendous hospitality, part of Sjeff's DNA, positivity is a personal strength of Rick's. "With enormous ambition I started Sjeff, it was running like clockwork and then Corona threw a spanner in the works, especially for the events and summer BBQs. Fortunately, the construction projects mostly just keep running. But then you have to think creatively. Thinking in terms of opportunities, crisis or not." Rick is about more than just making money. "It's about passion. I don't bring meals, I bring an experience: fun! Attention to people is SO important." Thus, with Sjeff he also offers opportunities to people with a distance to the labor market. "Sharing is and remains multiplying," he says. "Together you create something, so much more than just that mobile kitchen unit at a location."
