Brabant machine rental company takes big step in growth with appointment of Nick Hoffmans as Operations Manager

As of February 1, 2020, Nick Hoffmans has been appointed Operational Manager at Burgers Verhuur. The Brabant-based machine rental company, which is among the top 250 fastest growing companies in the Netherlands, is thus taking a big step in further growth and professionalization.

Nick Hoffmans will be operationally responsible for the Burgers Rental branches in Tilburg and Breda, from which a wide range of construction machinery and tools is rented out to companies and private individuals. Founder and owner Frank Burgers hereby hands over the daily management of his company: 'Our rapidly growing company is ready for a next step. With Nick's appointment I can focus on the further development and expansion of our company. I am confident that Nick will improve the processes in our organization even further. And that together with our employees he will raise the quality, service and service of our rental branches to the highest level', says Frank Burgers.

Nick Hoffmans joined Burgers Verhuur in 2015. At the time, he was pursuing a master's degree in Industrial Engineering at TU Eindhoven and also engaged in analyzing and optimizing business processes at Burgers Verhuur. After obtaining his master's, Nick started working as a Supplier Quality Engineer at ASML, where he was employed until the end of last month. In addition to his job at ASML, Nick continued to work several hours a week at Burgers Rental, where he implemented various efficiency-enhancing systems. The step to now start working as Operational Manager at Burgers Verhuur is a great opportunity for Nick: 'I have felt involved with Burgers Verhuur for a very long time and I have seen the company grow enormously in recent years. I think it is a fantastic opportunity to now make a nice contribution to the next steps of the company in the role of Operations Manager,' said Nick Hoffmans.
