Shows novelties at bauma 2022

With a wide range of products, customized solutions, a focus on innovation, a broad market and many years of experience, STDS-Jantz has a strong position in the market as a manufacturer and supplier of drilling technology and mini drilling and pile driving machines. The originally German manufacturer, with a sister company in Scotland (N.U.B. Engineering) has been developing high-quality drilling equipment, hydraulic drilling motors, accessories for various substrates and, for the past few years, complete machines for more than 37 years. 

At bauma 2022, the world's leading trade fair for construction machinery, machinery for building materials, construction vehicles, mining machinery and construction equipment, STDS-Jantz will be showing various machines and novelties. Marnik Janssens, representative of the German manufacturer from the sales office in Ternat (B), looks ahead.

Foundation machines

"At the fair we will show, among other things, three eye-catchers in the field of foundation machines: the Premodrill mini pile drivers with a drop weight of 600 and 1200 kg and the Premodrill 60, a mini drilling machine. The mini pile drivers are ideally suited for (inner-city) renovation work because, due to their compact size, they are easy to get to site, make less noise and can also be used electrically when a separate generator is placed outside the building." About the new Premodrill 60 drill, Marnik is still a bit secretive: "You just really have to come and see it at the fair!", he thinks. 

Latest drilling motor

New to the range at STDS-Jantz is the drill motor, model AD35020. "There are many manufacturers of drilling motors, including those that can hang from an excavator. But unique to this model is that this drill motor is really made for foundation work. Hanging from an excavator, the drill motor can be fitted with drills suitable for pile foundations, eliminating the customer's need for a special foundation machine."

Unique coil head

"The drill head features a unique and specially designed concrete flushing head that sits at the top of the drill head. The special 4-inch bend at the top of the drill motor through which the concrete passes vertically loose through the drill motor eliminates the chance of clogging in the flushing head and ensures that there is no loss of concrete pressure." Marnik adds, "Additional advantages are that concrete compositions can be used where the gravel may be larger than 8 mm and it is easy to clean with a sponge ball."

At bauma (October 24-30, 2022 in Munich), the full STDS range of AD drill motors for attachment to excavators and others will also be on display, as well as the VdW drilling systems for secant pile walls. "As will the ground displacement auger drills and the drill buckets for Kelly drills." Marnik concludes, "At the fair, the public can go and see what the future holds and hear about the latest novelties from STDS-Jantz at our booth (FN.523/3) over a cup of coffee in their own language."
