Drumming and sifting

A raw material that is reused generally contains constituents that do not belong in it, such as contamination or unwanted components. A sieving machine is ideally suited to separate the components. The machines of Zeefverhuur.nl are therefore used by contractors throughout the country on the most diverse projects: from the sieving of milling asphalt to the sieving of construction and demolition waste.

Zeefverhuur.nl has an extensive fleet of drum screens and shake screeners. "Our drum screens are mainly used by composting companies to screen out wood chips," says Rien van Laarhoven of Zeefverhuur.nl. "In the construction and infra world, our shake sieving machines are especially in demand. For example, during demolition work, a shaker sieve machine can sift the debris from the excavated soil. Another example where the shaker is useful is at an asphalt plant where milled asphalt is reused. With the shake sieve machine, the fine fraction (from 4 millimeters) can be separated from the raw material. Finally, the star screen is a machine ideally suited for separating debris with greasy soil."

Circular economy

Sieveverhuur.nl's machines are used throughout the country. "Our machines can be rented with or without driver/loader," says Van Laarhoven. "Transport is also provided by us if necessary, although there are also customers who pick up the machines from our premises in Best themselves. The mobile drum screen, for example, can simply be picked up behind the truck. The rental period varies from one or two days to six months or longer. In the infra world, our 90% screening machines are used to separate debris from asphalt and soil. We currently have machines on several infra projects. For a large-scale replacement task of a sewer system in Voeren (behind Maastricht), our machine has been rented out for a year and a half. Here the freely dug soil with stony material is first sieved (stripped of stones) in order to backfill the new sewer. There is also a machine in a port transshipment where Dolomite is stripped of a smaller fraction. And finally, our machines can also regularly be found when breaking up road detour. The screening machines are then positioned behind a rubble crusher in order to reuse the raw materials." In this respect, the machines of Zeefverhuur.nl fit perfectly into the sustainable and circular economy.
