'One size fits all' is a term that certainly does not apply to measuring equipment. This is why MeetConsult does not provide standard solutions, but custom solutions for everyone involved in measurement. Whether it is daily or occasional, there is a measurement solution for every professional.
"We try not to sell standard programs or equipment. Every customer gets their own solution with us," says director Eelco Visser. "Because we have a lot of practical experience ourselves, we can guide our customers, to find the customized solution." Central to this are accuracy, reliability a system that is easy to learn. "It's all about the whole story, which is why we also offer an extensive range of accessories. Just the length of the stick is personal."
Including a code list for measuring directly into NLCS, MeetConsult is making things easier for its customers. "We have introduced the 160 most commonly used symbols. Those make it possible to use outside for example the code tree, then immediately the symbol is placed and in the right CAD layer. From the Android field book, you can create the CAD drawing directly from X-Pad and email it or put it in the Cloud. This saves a lot of time and errors because the drawing is already created in the field. It also saves money because a separate software for the office is no longer needed."
It is now also possible in X-Pad to hang the drawing with underground pipes behind the measurement. Visser: "The customer then no longer needs to bring a separate drawing (which can be misinterpreted) and can easily look up a pipe, for example with our GeoMax Zenith16 GNSS receiver." Several versions of the X-Pad software are also available. "For example, there is a special version for construction and infra, we do not provide one package for everyone, because each user has his own needs." The X-Pad Android software is easy to learn, according to Visser. "We have been working with Android since 2013, therefore we can now offer well-functioning and intuitive solutions that are easy to learn."
MeetConsult is main dealer of GeoMax, part of Hexagon. The company supplies the entire line of GeoMax measuring instruments and has its own service technicians trained by Hexagon. "So we take care of the whole process from purchasing advice, to training and support, possibly also remotely -then we take over the computer." GeoMax came out with several innovations in 2021, including further improvements to the GeoMax Robotic Total Stations. The Zoom75 and Zoom95 received a faster processor and larger color screen. Especially for archaeology and other GIS applications, there is GeoMax's lightweight solution. The GeoMax Zenith06 uses all satellites with dual frequency and has cm accuracy.
