Quickly and easily learn gestures for a safer construction or project site.
To prevent construction or project sites from being in the top 3 most unsafe workplaces for years to come, Bouwspraak was created. Bouwspraak consists of 27 simple hand and arm gestures that workers can use to communicate. The Bouwspraak Nailing Game is intended to ensure that construction site workers learn and remember the gestures well.
The Construction Speech Nailing Game is a game in which the player must answer as many answers correctly as possible in the fastest time possible. The fastest one with the most questions correct wins. The player sees a board or an animation showing a gesture, after which the player can choose from three answers. The game can be played for a year and produces multiple winners. Prizes to be won are: a weekly B'ouwvaquer or Chef du Infra sweater, a quarterly BBQ for all colleagues worth €500, and the grand prize is a travel voucher worth €1,000.
The game can be played via: www.bouwspraak.nl/bijspijkerspel
Speech confusion and noise on the line due to a noisy construction or project site appear to play a crucial role in unsafe situations. That is why the sector parties have joined forces and developed Bouwspraak to create more safety on construction sites and project locations. Bouwspraak must become part of everyone's workmanship. This is an initiative of: Koninklijke Bouwend Nederland, Aannemersfederatie Nederland, Vereniging van Waterbouwers, WoningBouwersNL, FNV Bouwen & Wonen and CNV Vakmensen.
